GUIDE-GNSS specializes in metrology techniques known as “Record and playback” or “Record and replay”. To capitalize on this testing technique, our laboratory has set up a specialized test bench, within the framework of a CNES study contract, to demonstrate the good “Representativeness” of the propagation phenomena of GNSS signals and their identical “Reproducibility”. A presentation of these works is available with the technical note, attached.
Autonomous navigation is increasingly making use of satellite geolocation technologies. Economic efficiency and technical requirements are challenges for the entire industry. The validation of the geolocation function in a rich and complex terrestrial environment is inevitably accompanied by an increase in test costs to cover a sufficient number of operational situations.
For this reason, new metrology techniques are emerging. They take advantage of the digitization of GNSS signals to provide reliable and repeatable methods.
