GEOTRUST Project
Certify the ability to detect and mitigate GNSS attacksThe consortium composed of GUIDE, FDC, ACTIA, and Gustave Eiffel University, led the GEOTRUST project in order to develop test methods to certify the ability to detect and mitigate attacks on GNSS based positioning systems.
Indeed, malicious acts can disturb and/or corrupt the GNSS receiver measurements to force them to make errors that may severely impact the system automation. The are two main categories of attacks :
- Jamming, intended to disturb the GNSS measurements
- Spoofing, intended to make calculate a false position
GUIDE is in charge of developing the test methods dedicated to assessing and certifying the countermeasure software against GNSS attacks.
